| Introduction | I was born in South India, raised in Mumbai for most part of my life - spent a few odd years abroad, some more down south studying for a professional degree and now back to good ol Mumbai. I love Mumbai and even though I may crib about the dirt, dust, pollution, traffic, heat, red-tape - these are the very things I miss once I'm away from the city. I love reading about the city - esp the works of people who write about life spent abroad vs. life in Mumbai. I guess somewhere I can relate to that. That makes authors like Amitav Ghosh, Amit Chaudhury, Suketu Mehta my favourites. Somewhere along this journey of life I met Gaurav - its amazing how alike we are in terms of our passions, dreams, tastes - a big one being our love for food & drink! ;) We love to travel, cook, read & socialise. | Interests | We do the normal stuff - movies, plays, eating and a lot of cooking. Oh do we love to cook, keep us away from the kitchen for a week and we wilt till we are handed back the ladle and the pan! You'll read lots of colinary stories here. |
