| Introduction | I decided to create this blog to document my move to a Costa Rican cloud forest. I currently reside in the heart of downtown Vancouver, in a 400 sq ft bachelor apartment with my fiancee and one-year-old German Sheppard puppy, who has a rare condition called lymphangiectasia. My fiancee and I decided to move to the Costa Rican cloud forest at the end of June to help out at an eco-lodge. Our long term goal is to buy land, live sustainably and in balance with nature. We will be living off the grid producing our own food and power. You can check out the website my fiancee made for the lodge at: lvlodge.org. He has been there many times, and has traveled all over Latin America, the Middle East and parts of Europe, Asia and Africa. But this is my first real foreign adventure, and our first together! I will be updating my blog as much as possible so you can come along on my journey! |
