| Introduction | We invite you to join our family on our journey in missions. Our family consists of a mom, a dad, 7 kids (4 of whom are now adults on their own), a son-in-law, 2 daughters-in-law, 2 granddaughters, and 1 grandson. This blog is to share our journey as we along with our 3 youngest children, ages 8, 10, and 10, live and serve as missionaries in Colombia, South America. When our church went through "Radical", a study by David Platt about 9 years ago, God sparked in our hearts a desire to live more radically for Him, to follow Him wherever He leads. Shortly after the study, as Chris prepared for retirement from the AF, he sensed God calling our family to missions in South America. And one by one God revealed His call to the rest of our family. For 23 years, we were sent a variety of places by the military, we believe that even then it was God sending us to those places to carry out His plan. We connected with a church at each place we were stationed and served in various ministries.The military is no longer sending us places, but God is still sending us where He wants us to be. And we are committed to go wherever God leads us and follow Him on the journey He has for us. |
