| Introduction | We are an incorporated, nonprofit community organization called Friends of Dunnavant Valley Greenway, Inc. Membership is open to residents, businesses, land owners and other stakeholders who live and work in Dunnavant Valley. We have teamed with Shelby County and have begun to plan and work to not only conserve the natural beauty of the valley but to encourage responsible development that reflects a spirit of land development based on traditional neighborhoods, smart growth, a respect for nature and maintaining the rural character of the area.* “Shelby County Comprehensive Plan...A Path to the Future”.
