Introduction A free-spirited, warm-hearted, tough little cookie.
Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, I moved to jolly ol’ London in January 2006. Despite graduating in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science Degree, I moved forward professionally with my creative pursuits. Establishing myself as a writer, I have worked in everything from reviewing bars and restaurants (including 'ViewLondon.com') to writing for television. I have also authored a piece of children’s literature, called 'That’s Disgusting'. Prior to moving to London, I was working amongst the sweet sunny skies of Hawaii as a newspaper journalist for 'The Molokai Times'. Now living in Fulham (much less sun, but plenty o' fun), I work as a journalist for Voltimum, a website for the building industry. Along with my role as roving reporter and editor for VoltiNEWS, I work my magic on camera as a webTV presenter. ;) This has brought me back to my media roots, as back in Toronto I had my fair share of experience on the small screen, both as an actress and a presenter.
Interests Travelling, creative writing, scuba diving, rollerblading, power-shopping, CSI marathons, and meeting up for “cuppas” with my Essex-based family.
Favorite Movies The Princess Bride, Big Fish, Lost in Translation, Fight Club, Billy Elliot, Whale Rider, and all the National Lampoon Vacations with good ol' Chevy Chase.
Favorite Music Anything and everything except new country and Celine Dion, Bob Marley makes me smile, Beethoven makes me write, and Depeche Mode makes me dance.
Favorite Books The Ten People You Meet In Heaven, Choke, The Life of Pi, and Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.
