IntroductionIt's always great to have your best friend by your side everyday and since May 11th, 2006 that's just how we've lived. Even when Dave is called to the far reaches of the earth we are still side-by-side and we wouldn't have it any other way. On July 15th 2009 we expanded by 50% when Jackson David Shepard joined our little group. He's a happy, chubby little guy who loves to laugh at Sam the dog and his mommy and daddy. He is the joy of our lives!
InterestsSome might think that interests include hiking and camping, etc. We do like to do those things of course, but we love sharing tater-tot casserole, cuddling on the couch and watching Baseball Tonight together. Those are our favorite times. However, our interests do include hiking, camping, reading, watching and playing sports (Baseball and Car racing -- NOT NASCAR!!), seeing new movies, music -- singing together, hanging with friends, and trying new foods. Gotta love it.
Favorite moviesPride and Prejudice (The LOOONG one), School of Rock, The Incredibles, All the Bourne movies, Just Like Heaven, (Dave likes Napolean Dynamite, but Susan LOATHES it), Transformers, Best In Show, Lord of the Rings, Enchanted, Phantom of the Opera...This is all we can think of for now.
Favorite musicWe both love Classical, Jazz, MoTab, and Classic Rock. Susan loves Sarah Brightman and similar genres, Bond, Shania Twain, Country, Clara Schumann, Beethoven, Holst, Stravinski. Dave likes Punk Rock, Barenaked Ladies, Blues Traveler, Matthew Goode Band, etc.
Favorite booksWe both love The Scriptures and other church books. Susan likes classical novels (there are so many I can't list all the titles I like), the TWILIGHT SERIES!, Nancy Drew, Traveling Pants, murder mysteries of all kinds, Edgar Allan Poe. Dave likes war books, history books (especially when they're one and the same), car books and technical manuals, and car magazines (I know they're not really books, but some of them are almost 100 pages long!), To Kill a Mockingbird (One of my all time favorites), Steinbeck.
