| Introduction | I call my calling Creative Life Coaching. I help people get out of their own way, see themselves whole and reconnect with their innate creative genius, in life, work, and any medium of self-expression. I facilitate inquiry into the truth that sets you free, using the Self Treasuring Process I've developed through deep engagement with The Work of Byron Katie, long-time study of The Enneagram, The I Ching, and other teachings. I've felt compelled to create pretty much from the get-go. I published my first illustrated book by mimeograph at age 5, about a dress that made music. For a long time, I needed to make realistic pictures out of hundreds of pieces of cloth. Now I paint, and write, and combine these and other media, including fabrics. To me, creativity originates in a spiritual Source that we are never separate from, even when it feels like it. Inquiry into the truth of who you are results in joyful dynamic freedom of expression--it's a spiritual evolution. As for religion, personally, I think the ancient Egyptians got it right with the cat worship thing, but other traditions have plenty to teach also.... |
