Introduction | I am a retired middle-school teacher. I am a published writer. My work has appeared both in print and online. |
Interests | Check out my writing blog at: joyackley.wordpress.com |
Favorite Movies | Old black and white movies, light comedy, romance, some thrillers (if not too gory) |
Favorite Music | Classical, Easy Listening, Aaron Neville, Pink Floyd, jazz. My new love is Joshua Ledet from American Idol, Season 11. |
Favorite Books | Too numerous to name. I like Janet Evanowich's Stephanie Plum series, and I like Jonathan Kellerman. I like thrillers and myseries. Mary Higgins Clark is a favorite. Of late, I have enjoyed Maeve Binchy's novels. I also like Patricia Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta series. Sometimes I'll have a hankering to put aside the edgy stuff and read old-fashioned novels by Grace Livingston Hill. |
Try making up the rules to a game where you tie knots in a yo-yo string just to see if you can get them out:
1. Level one: 10 knots to a string. 2. Level two: 20-30 knots to a string 3. Level three: Unlimited knows to a string 4. No cussing or swearing while playing Level 3. 5. If played for competition, all players must agree upon a time limit for each level. The winner will receive a new yo-yo.
