| Introduction | Since 1992 Vine has been a “free” Home Depot® of sorts for God’s servants in Guatemala who the poor through the love of Jesus and sound medicine. We are an infrastructure organization that provides necessary medical equipment and supplies that make good medical treatment of the poor possible. So, Vine is a critical supply line for medical missions in Guatemala and Central America. Why is this important? Because medical missions may well be the most effective ways to reach the lost in developing countries. Simply put, if you reach out in love and meet people at their point of need, you've earned the right to speak into their lives. The servants of Jesus serving the poor through medicine are astounded that Vine exists and that all that we have we give away. In this regard, as far as we know, Vine is unique in Central America or maybe anywhere. Vine is currently supplying over 100 projects in Guatemala and our Vitamin Project provides nutrition for over 1100 orphans or temporarily homeless children. |
