| Introduction | Now, this is not the time or the place to go into detail about my breakup from my fiance two years ago. I will just say, it sucked, & the hostility was shitty enough to instill in me the desire to get the hell outta dodge (aka Chapel Hill, NC). So I boogied on up to Asheville, which lies just along the Blue Ridge Mountains in Western NC. My life in Asheville is fairly typical for that of a freshly independent young woman in her early twenties. I make a living waiting tables while attending college - which I am attending in hopes to one day make a living doing something that is nothing at all like waiting tables. So now I bet you wanna find out what I do when I'm not spellchecking midterm papers or delivering Cobb salads to hungry vacationers…no problem! I totally know the answer to that question. I spend my free time with good friends, food, wine, and great music that is sure to getcha groovin'. Also, I'm starting to write again. I crack myself up with my quick, dry wit, and I can literally bring myself to tears with how super profound I am when reflecting about myself! So it only makes sense to me that this be shared with the world in the form of a blog. Excited? Cool! Me too. |
