Susan loves nature, in particular birds like hawks, owls and eagles. She also loves wolves and big cats and is herself owned by no fewer than 5 housecats and two Chiweenie rescue pups. Her cats have trained her well! Two of them are over the 23 lb mark and are just huge cats, not just fat. Now that her children have left the nest, her animals have become her kids. Susan and her husband enjoy riding their ATV, hiking, bicycle riding, gardening and other outdoor activities when time allows.

Favorite Movies MOVIES: Any movie I watch has to have a happy ending and make me feel good to be on my favorite list. What draws me back to a movie are the characters and the world they live in. Some of my favorites are Guarding Tess, Sister Act 1 & 2, True Lies, Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games, Independence Day, Harry Potter and so many more. TELEVISION: I spend a lot of time in the evenings with my mother and have discovered many shows through her that I might never have tried like Law & Order, CSI, NCIS and Criminal Minds. We both also love the Mentalist.
Favorite Music I like a wide variety of music. Neil Diamond has always been a favorite. I also like a lot of new age music, especially Native American and Celtic music. I’ve also been known to listen to howling wolves and baggpipes and I love music from the 50's-80's, the oldies. I just discovered Gregorian Chanters that I just love. I’ll list later some of my favorite artists and albums.
Favorite Books As a child, I loved the Boxcar Children and Heidi and of course, Nancy Drew, so even back then I loved reading a series which carries over into my adult life. I love many of Nora Roberts series, especially her trilogies. And of course, there is Nora’s books written as JD Robb, her Death books. I love nothing better than to gather them up and read them in order. I also love all of Christine Feehan’s books and I also adore Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series and let’s not leave out Harry Potter which I absolutely love. Then there is the Imager Series by LE Modesitt.
