| Introduction | Experienced program administrator, fundraiser, college professor, inventor, trainer, writer, proposal writer and problem solver with a proven ability to take ideas and programs from theory to practice. Prior to a career in Human Relations, he worked with teams of scientists in IBM Blue Sky Research; Sr Electronics Research Test Technician at Douglas Missile & Space Pre-launch Test Labs in California; and a Senior Tech Writer with Mars Space Probe at Martin Marietta AstroSpace in Princeton, NJ. He has an Honorable Discharge from the US Air Force, where he served as a Senior Radar Technician on F-86 jets in the NY Air National Guard. Prior to joining the Air National Guard he was a First Lt. in the Civil Air Patrol while in high school. Dr. Wortham has five degrees: AS in Computer Technology from IBM and Dutchess Community College; AA in Liberal Arts from San Francisco City College; BA from San Francisco State in International Relations & Political Science; Masters in Community Psychology and Counseling from Marist College; PhD in Education from the Union Institute. He has a Regents Diploma in Art from his high school in Peekskill, NY. |
