| Introduction | Politics has muscled out the voice of art in Northern Ghana They have turned a blind eye and deaf ears towards creatives to the point we are forced to sing praises to them, in doing so, we lost our independence. Art is often used to draw awareness to specific underrepresented political issues but not in Northern Ghana. Let me cut this short with this quote by Howard Jacobson. ''It's better to look for the answer to life's questions in art and literature rather than politics and politicians''. |
