| Introduction | I'm a member of Friends Meeting at Cambridge and also serve on Quaker Earthcare Witness. I have been representing QEW at UN CSD sessions for the last 8 years, which has been a real eye-opener. I hope to go to Kenya fairly soon, both to help with and to document what is going on. Another serious interest is what the changing patterns of precipitation related to global climate disruption will mean for Kenya. I plan to visit and write about the work of the Rural Services Programme, another Friends venture, which addresses sustainable practices like rooftop water harvesting. |
