Regular player of tabletop wargames: mainly against Mr. P. Ireland, a similarly inclined gentleman who disdains the competitive atmosphere engendered by most wargames clubs. As a result we constitute the smallest Salopian Wargames club where we recreate battles from history in an unseemly environment of mirth & merriment. Wassail!

Favorite movies	Das boot, The Proposition, Dr. Zhivago, Metropolis, Nosferatu, The Thing, Deadwood the series, Once upon a time in the West, Citizen Kane and most Hitchcock stuff, The Millenium Trilogy.
Favorite music	New Model Army, punk, goth & new wave, Grand Funk Railroad, Faith no More, Hawkwind, Danielle Dax, Paradise Lost, Jello Biafra in his various guises. Also "proper" folk music.
Favorite books	Any H.P. Lovecraft, Plutarchs Lives, Polybius, Beowulf, Tacitus, Tolkien, any John le Carre, George McDonald Fraser, The Iliad, The Odyssey.
