| Introduction | My husband Steve and I have been married for almost 19 years!! God has done amazing and miraculous things in our lives. Three of which are our biological children. Ashley is our oldest daughter (13). Chandler is our oldest son (9). And Alexandra is our youngest daughter (7). The "Miracle of the Moment" in our lives is our soon to be son, Samuel Ty. He is now in China. We travel to bring him home on October 2. October is a special month in our adoption journey. In late October 2002, God broke my heart for the special needs children in China. After much time on my face before God (literally!!) and through a miracle that is only from God, my husband came to me on October 6, 2007 and told me it was time to go get our boy in China. We can go get Samuel Ty!!!!! Here we are, planning to leave for China on Thursday, October 2, 2008. Guess when "Gotcha Day" is....October 6, 2008 (exactly one year from the word "Go"--not to mention six years of praying and oceans of tears)!!! GOD IS AMAZING!! God still performs miracles. I know because I am living my "Red Sea Experience". Thank you Jesus!!! To God be the Glory!!! |
