| Introduction | Dipa Dube has pursued her education in the field of law, having graduated from the University of Pune and completed her doctoral studies in the University of Calcutta. Her specialization is in the area of Criminal Law. For about a decade she is involved in teaching and research in criminal law, gender justice and human rights. Prior to joining the Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, IIT Kharagpur, she was teaching at the National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata and National Law University, Jodhpur. She has several books to her credit, the most recent being the Halsbury’s Annotated Statutes of India on Crimes against Women published by Lexis Nexis Buttterworths. She has contributed articles in several journals of repute. Presently, Dr. Dube is involved in numerous project and consultancy researches from Governmental Agencies on Women Workforce in BPO sector, Disability and Victimization and Intellectual Property Enforcement. |
