| Interests | I write songs, play guitar, and am the lead singer of the Rhode Island rock band Senior Discount. We have won Best Punk Band in the Providence Phoenix Best Music Poll two years in a row (2007 + 2008), and we were also chosen as semi-finalists in the 2008 95.5 WBRU Rock Hunt. We came in 3rd out of 807 bands in the eight-month long RI section of the Emergenza Festival in 2007, and we sold out a 350-person capacity movie theatre in Providence for the one time showing of our full-length documentary/comedy. We've also garnished at least 15 positive reviews of our debut album, "There Were Four Who Tried..." iincluding positive reviews from AbsolutePunk.net and Maximum RockNRoll. I have a degree in film and I co-write, direct, edit and produce sitcom-length comedy videos with my band/friends - we have over 30, 000 views on Youtube, Dailymotion and FunnyorDie. I also directed, edited and co-wrote a film called "VBW Attack" about myself and my band that won Best Comedy at the Indie Gathering Film Festival 2008, and the network G4 has bought footage from the film - they aired the clips in late 2008/early 2009. |
