| Introduction | With the Internet, typing came back into my life. Starting in the early 1990s, I determined to practice my typing each evening by summarizing whatever book I was reading. Soon my typing got better -- and so did my reading. But then I began to doubt what I had written off the top of my head and often from memory. I was now "grading" my own papers (sort of what I do in my day job to other people). My reviews got longer and began to take on the faint compulsion of a hobby. Eh bien, soit. The earlier ones are probably too short and breezy, the latter, too long and serious. Most of what I've done is still in embargo, although over time the objective is to release everything and to add to the list. I welcome comments. |
