Governors State University School of Extended Learning | One of the big ideas that we have been pursuing since GSU was founded more than 40 years ago is to make education accessible. We realize that for many adults on-campus daytime classes conflict with work and family schedules or active military service. The School for Extended Learning is designed to meet those needs and more. The School’s range of courses and workshops allow students to acquire new skills and knowledge for career advancement along with obtaining CEUs and Certifications. In addition at our American Language and Culture Institute (ALCI), we serve the needs of international and U.S. students that have an interest in improving their English language skills

GSU College of Health and Human Services | The College of Health and Human Services consists of seven academic departments: Addictions Studies and Behavioral Health, Communication Disorders, Health Administration, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Social Work. The College offers high-quality degree and certificate programs that provide students with the expert preparation they need to assume key roles as professionals in their field. In addition every program in the College of Health and Human Services that requires accreditation for licensure or certification is properly accredited.
