| Introduction | I am a Peace Corps Volunteer in Togo, West Africa. Togo is a very small country (about the size of West Virginia) bordered by Ghana to the west, Burkina Faso to the north, and Benin to the east. I work in the Community Health Expansion and AIDS Prevention (CHAP) sector. There are four PC sectors currently at work in Togo. In addition to CHAP there is Small Enterprise Development (SED), Natural Resource Management (NRM), and Girls Education and Empowerment (GEE). PCVs from all sectors collaborate to manage projects designed to be sustainable within the community and improve quality of life for the Togolese. |
