| Introduction | At age 70, I feel I still see the world through the eyes of myself at age 7. Folks are frequently surprised at my candor both in person and through my column but I enjoy saying it like it is . . . according to my perspective. That didn't make much sense, did it? I say what everyone wants to say but is afraid to. I'm the original I Don't Care Girl. Peer pressure? Ha! |
| Interests | My two college-aged granddaughters, my "roomie" of almost 50 years, diet Red Bull, March Madness, daily jumble and cryptoquip, reading, libraries, Tebow, I used to love Michael Jordan until he turned into a total horse's patootie, the scent of Spring, cooking, driving to new places, flying, green (especially summer/spring when things are growing and alive as opposed to fall/winter browns), Mike & Mike in the Morning, my son's novels, deep soakie baths, making up words when I write and can't think of the right one (Oh, you noticed?) |
| Favorite movies | I love chick flicks. Happy endings. |
| Favorite music | Sinatra, Beatles, Taylor Swift, Patty Smith, the Stones, Who, Garth Brooks, Michael Buble. I like pretty much everything. But rap. I hate rap. |
| Favorite books | Just finished Pat Conroy's "South of Broad". Kathryn Stockett's "The Help", Margaret Atwood's "The Blind Assassin" and J.D. Robb's "Kindred in Death". Two weeks from now I'll have a hard time remembering those titles or the authors. I also enjoy reading my son-the-author-Ad-Hudler's novels, which you should buy and read, read, read! |
