Introduction | I am Mr. Samuel Baka Inonga currently working as an intern at the South African National NGO Coalition (SANGOCO National Office) in Braamfontein, Johannesburg, South Africa. After completing my Postgraduate Studies in Political Studies and the World of Work Training and Internship Programme at the University of the Witwatersrand (Johannesburg-South Africa), I joined SANGOCO for a three months in-service practical professional internship Programme in mid-August 2007 when the organisation was facing countless of challenges including: lack of funding support, human resources shortage, and so on. But SANGOCO is no doubt a valued organisation, judged by the demands made on it. I have worked as volunteer and employee at different organizations in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Republic of South Africa focusing on Community development, HIV/AIDS Education and Counseling, Social work, Human Rights and Advocacy work. |
Interests | My field of interest include: Good governance, Democracy and elections monitoring, Political transition process, Social justice, Human Rights, Conflict Management, Peace and Security, Research Project (humanities and social sciences field), HIV/AIDS education, campaign and counseling, Poverty Eradication, Community Development, Migration and Refugee Affairs, and Outreach work. |
