| Introduction | I'm a single gal living in the beautiful coastal town of Beaufort, South Carolina. I have the three most awesome cats ever, and a job that I love working as an Administrative Specialist in the behavioral health field. Words to describe me include but are not limited to: Bookworm. Sarcastic. Silly. Introvert. Animal lover. Childfree. Nerd. I have Systemic Lupus Erethymatosis, Fibromyalgia, and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. I only mention this because they each play a significant role in my life, and are mentioned in my writing from time to time. Like so many people, I went to college straight out of high school, at only 17 years old, and was in no way at all prepared for what awaited me there. Needless to say that my college days were ultimately brief and wildly unsuccessful. As such, for the last two decades my number one regret in life has been the fact that I gave up my chance at a bachelors degree. So here I am today, at the ripe old age of 36 years old, currently enrolling in college as a freshman. Fresh start, clean slate, right? And while I know they say that you're never too old to go back... After 19 years away, I am very Late for Class. |
