Introduction	Jake Gariepy is a writer, illustrator and designer who lives in an old farmhouse in Eugene, Oregon. He is married and has eight children - seven boys and a girl. Jake is the author and illustrator of the children's book "Severine" as well as a collection of essays called, "Seven Boys and a Girl".
Interests	If they wear a crown or have lived in the White House, I am probably interested in them.
Favorite Movies	Anything after 1935 and before 1964, Ross Hunter/Douglas Sirk films, Four Days in November, Merchant Ivory films, James Bond
Favorite Music	No one that I know will respect me if I answer this honestly... but an odd mix of ABBA, Depeche Mode, 10, 000 Maniacs, Doris Day, Pink Martini, Carla Bruni, Frank Sinatra and Mozart will sum it up nicely. Many others in between. Throw in any Ray Conniff or Burl Ives Christmas album, and I am a happy man.
