| Introduction | Corey Harbaugh recently retired after thirty years working in rural Michigan schools, including fourteen as a teacher and sixteen as a principal or curriculum director. In 2025 he founded The Harbaugh Knowledge Group to support colleagues, projects, and institutions both inside the field of education and in any other field where knowledge and collaboration adds value. He is a recognized leader in education in Michigan and nationally, working on projects with such organizations as The Anne Frank Center, The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, The National Writing Project, The MacArthur Foundation, The Annenberg Rural School and Community Trust, The Spencer Foundation, The USC Shoah Foundation, and The Olga Lengyel Institute. He has presented on educational issues across the country and internationally, and is widely published. He served on the Michigan state council helping guide educators on the law mandating genocide education in Michigan schools and co-authored the model curriculum to support the mandate. |
