| Introduction | Currently a second year Library Technician student at the good old NSCC and positively swamped in homework, hence re-working this blog (proscrastination). Also moderately interested in the theatre arts, which I guess must be clarified. We have a bit of a love/hate relationship going on. It's a mish-mash of security issues, sensitivity and ego(not that I have a particularly big one, but being up on stage isn't exactly for the shy and meek) |
| Interests | Buying books ( especially series) and not reading them, writing young adult stories and not finishing them, singing and dancing to my ipod when nobody is around,performing-on my own terms-, watching reruns of csi miami ( i like the lighting, it's always a freaky yellow)and drinking red wine despite red wine teeth and lips. And not smoking and eating carrots instead, a poor alternative. |
| Favorite movies | Kill Bill 1 and 2, all versions of Pride and Prejudice, Immortal Beloved, The Village, A Very Long Engagement, Amelie, Legally Blonde,Vanity Fair and Masterpiece Theatre's Wives and Daughters. The Forsyte Saga. You know, I'm BBC's number one fan actually. Legend, Labyrinth, The Descent, Possession, Bleak House...basically anything that is period drama. Corsets, restricted women's rights and scandals. |
| Favorite music | Anything but country |
| Favorite books | Jane Austen books-pride and prejudice and persusaion, White Oleander, The Bell Jar, Wicked, Circle of Friends, Tess of the D'bervilles, Sophie's World, The Mists of Avalon, Portrait of a Lady, The Thirteenth Tale, I Capture The Castle, Speak...The Lord of The Rings..basically anything that has pages and two covers and a decent plot line. |
