| Introduction | I live in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, with my husband of 41 years, Dave. He is a LGV1 driver covering the UK and Europe. Matthew is our eldest (now 34), married to Richelle (almost 30), with three children - Brad 13 1/2, Katie 9 1/2 and Melissa 3 1/2. Siân is our second, now 27 years old and living with partner John (for nine years). They have two children, Dominic 7 and Cerys 4 3/4. Kirsty is our third, now almost 21. She still lives at home with us, and is a legal secretary at a large solicitors in Sheffield. Our grandchildren play a huge part in our lives - Dominic and Cerys live close by (across the road) and we see the other three almost every weekend. I work at putting adult education classes on, and teach patchwork and quilting as part of this job. I love it! My ambition is to find suitable premises and open up a patchwork academy - I don't want a shop, I want to pass on what I have learned over the years. I see it as being a drop in centre with the addition of set workshops on set days. I have all the ideas, just not the finances! |

| Favorite music | Anything! Kirsty's boyfriend Nicky is the bass guitarist in Mirimar Disaster, a top Sheffield band, and I love the pounding beat of that music, but I also love middle of the road stuff such as Jack Jones, Ella Fitzgerald etc. |
| Favorite books | Where to start! I read anything and everything! I have all the Stephen King books, just finished reading Karin Slaughter (all of them) and love Patricia Cornwell. |
