| Introduction | I am the baby of my family...actually an afterthought whose siblings were all grown by the time I was coming of age. This allowed me to have a family with sisters and a brother, yet I grew up an only child at the same time. It was a luxury (or pox) not every child gets to encounter. My daddy died not quite two weeks before I was born. That summer was a hard one for my mother. Less than two months later my infant brother died, too. He had a heart defect. Currently, I am estranged from my mother because of issues that have come to light regarding my father's burial site. It is not a situation that I chose. She did. I cannot accept responsibility for her selfishness and deceit. I am tired of being an enabler for her. Hopefully, this blog will allow me to exorcise some of this anger. I am very uncomfortable with anger. I am not familiar with being an angry man. |
