Introduction	My book reviews on Booker Tov are a form of discipline. As a writer, I find it necessary to read uncontrollably. If for nothing else, than to avoid looking at a blank page of an unwritten document. But for every CURRENT book I read, I test myself by writing a review. (I like to catch up on missed classics in between.) Also, it's nice to have an anchor page for when I occasionally publish an article somewhere else.
Favorite books	The Bible, The American Heritage Dictionary, 1984, The Source, A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Book Thief, Bridge to Terabithia, The Giver, Where the Sidewalk Ends, The Sneetches, Harold and the Purple Crayon.
