| Introduction | I am a lawyer turned author. I lived all over the USA as well as in England and Japan before settling in Spokane, Washington. I am now back in Spokane after a stint in Chicago. I care about justice and representing the little guy. I care about storytelling. I graduated from the University of California at Santa Cruz with a BA in literature and my JD is from the University of Maryland. My law specialty is litigation. My writing specialty is fictional nonfiction. I worked as a teacher and journalist before turning to the law and now to writing.
