Introduction	One hobby on which our entire family can agree is that we all love food. We love to cook. We love to eat. And we love to try new restaurants. (Well, except Ethan, who doesn’t particularly enjoy eating out because it takes too much time away from playing with his friends.) But in the end, he is a good eater and after he gets his complaining out of the way, even he typically enjoys our dinner outings. We also like to support the local diners; you know, the “mom and pops’” restaurants. Keith calls them “holes in the wall,” but he applies this term to even the nicest of local, non-chain places, which doesn’t work for me, so we’ll just call them the “mom and pops’” places. We have enjoyed a lot of these local restaurants in Lincoln, and thus decided it is time to expand our boundaries and visit some of the best fare in small town Nebraska. Each weekend, we will pick a nearby town, drive there, and find a place to eat. Sometimes, we will go off recommendations from friends or colleagues. Other times, we’ll just go exploring and find what we find. It will be our grand summer adventure.
