Introduction	Grandma Louise has been retired since January of 2009. However, she keeps very busy with family and church work. Any extra time she fills with oil painting in "studio" and en plein air, and occasionally bike riding with grandpa in the morning. Grandpa Richard is enjoying retirement as well, and hasn't had any trouble filling up all his free time. We've been blogging now for about 6 years and have found it very rewarding. We love the connection it gives us to our children and grandchildren and extended family. It certainly helps to fill some of the void we have felt as empty nesters.

Introduction
