| Introduction | Strider Mara is runaway. He is a freak. A disgrace. A despicable leftover from the congregation of the righteous. He is a disaster. But he loves the truth. He loves the truth more than he loves approval of man; he loves it more than the house of cards the church stands shakily upon. He loves the truth more than he loves acceptance, and because of this he has lost the respect of the legalistic church, and has been disowned by their blind fear. When not working on The Book of Hell, Strider can be found pissing in the holy water, loving real people, and saying "Fuck!" in church.
