Introduction	After procrastinating for years, I have run out of excuses to resume writing. Actually, I never stopped writing. I've just been sporadic, inconsistent and unfocused. Since I feel called to do this, it's time to change my behavior. I’m just not sure exactly what I should be writing about. I hope that this blog will help me flesh out some of my sketchy ideas. Along with pain and disappointment in my life, I have experienced much joy. I have been married for almost 25 years to a great guy. We have two kids in college and one in high school. Observing the lives of my children is a constant source of joy and amusement. My mother lives close by in a retirement community. Mom suffers from dementia but is having the time of her life. I experience joy from seeing her happy along with frustration that she can’t remember what she told me five minutes ago. I have worked as a computer consultant for over twenty years. I am so thankful that I have had a job that paid a decent wage and gave me the flexibility that my family required. I have enjoyed the work but wonder if I should be doing something else. Perhaps this written exploration will help me discover what that something is.
