Introduction	A gypsy by birth, became respectable instead! I'm the oldest of five, birthed three, then raised three more. There are three children, thirteen grandchildren, some I don't know and will probably never meet, and four great-grandchildren, two who went to adoptive parents several years ago. I try not to think about some of this, but do pray that when they are older I'll still be here to tell the I loved them this whole time. Wanted to ride a horse and live in a cabin, but got a van and drove kids to school. Now is my time, I just turned 61 and 6 + 1 = 7 = a lucky number! Time for a life-style change! Time to lose 40#, learn to ride a bike, slow down, walk everywhere, knit and start a blog! My great-grandma was 99 - I would like to see 100 candles on my cake, anything after that is frosting! Goals are what you reach for, a beacon in the night, it helps you choose what path you take. But the journey may be the ultimate reward.
Favorite movies	Am currently devouring every single Sherlock Holmes movie I can find - all the way back to 1931 - can you believe it?
Favorite music	Violin and lots of ethereal music. I will be more specific later. I listen to Pandora and Last.fm.
Favorite books	The Wind & the Willows, Les Miserables
