| Introduction | Johni and I met in 2003 and fell for each other almost immediately. We married December 28, 2005. Our journey took us from Mississippi to Michigan in the summer of 2007. The day after Valentine's Day 2008, we learned that God wanted us to become parents. After a full-term uncomplicated pregnancy, she was born barely alive October 20, after a very complicated delivery. To look at her now, you'd never know what she went through to come into the world. She is the most healthy, vibrant, beautiful girl you'll ever meet. Definitely the light of our lives. There is no feeling that compares to the love you have for your child. |
