| Introduction | I'm a mother of one with more free time than anyone should be allowed and more interests than should be listed. I reside somewhere between suburbia and down the rabbit hole, but call Colorado my home. My first and forever love will always be a pair of jeans. My favorite color is neutral. If I were a superhero I would be called IceFire and I'd have the power to instantly freeze anyone with the touch of my hands. My dream job is to be a companion to the Doctor (but only the David Tennant version). I believe in boots. Lastly should I ever find myself snowed in a cabin, my emergency kit would contain a fur throw, a worn copy of Jane Eyre, my hipstamatic, Tyler Florence, coffee with all the fixin's, the entire contents of the V&A museum, casks of wine and stacks of cheese & prosciutto. |
| Interests | Travel, books, photography, gluten-free cooking, interior and garden design, sewing, fashion, botanical illustration, art history, architecture, digging in the dirt, chickens, homesteading,. Fantasy football, hockey, snowboarding when it includes a lunchtime Bloody Mary. I am also a Tour de France and Olympics junkie as well as a serious anglophile so anything set in or having to do with London or England makes me giddy. |
