| Introduction | A founding director of WPE Computer Systems in 1991, Terry recently returned to the company, now renamed ATRIUM Software Ltd, as ATRIUMproperty Product Manager. Here he continues to develop the theory of property asset management information and its practical application, and deliver conference papers on property asset management information systems. Terry qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1969. Awarded a MSc in Construction Economics and Management in 1974, he became a Lecturer in Surveying at Bristol Polytechnic. As a founding partner of WPE Chartered Quantity Surveyors in 1978, Terry was instrumental in the design of the first proprietary maintenance management information system in 1981 and oversaw the successful implementation of several systems. He then managed a research project at the University of the West of England investigating property data for complex estates. In 1998 he joint-founded M Squared Asset Management Consultants, whose clients included a host of prominent organisations. Terry has been married for nearly forty years and has two grown up daughters and three grand-daughters. A keen cyclist, he often bikes 20 miles to and from work. |
