| Introduction | My free time is spent mostly quilting or knitting. I also play the piano at church and at the nursing home once a month, and I am learning to play the harp. I have five children, all married and living two-three hours away. They return home frequently (especially during hunting season), and much of my time is spent cooking for them when they are here, and making quilts or sweaters for them when they are not! |

| Favorite movies | My favorites would probably all be chick flicks, but I have watched some interesting movies with my children. (I do not like the gory stuff my sons-in-law prefer, however.) |
| Favorite music | I like country because I can understand the words. I also like the acoustic style, just guitar, piano and fiddle, no techno-stuff. |
| Favorite books | I love to read, I will read almost anything. Usually I select lighter, humorous fare, but I also enjoy a book that makes me think. I would love to get involved in a good book club. |
