Introduction	Hello, I'm Jackie. I have been drawing all of my life. My mother tells a story about my starting a drawing in the dirt ending up the length of our house and my older sister spending the entire afternoon protecting it. She was three. The highlight of my senior year in high school was in Latin class with a year-end project assigned to write an epic poem in Latin. Everyone, that is, except me. I had to paint two epic works of art! I blessed her until my cap went sailing through the air graduation night. I attended Pratt Institute but ended up working as a printed circuit designer. While raising my family I painted sets and scenic design for a couple of local theaters, Longmont Theatre Company and Jesters Dinner Theater. A life drawing class brought home the hard facts of drawing and painting for 15 years from the shoulder: I couldn’t draw anything that wasn’t supersized! Wrist movement and finger control were gone. Then I was introduced to the world of modern small paintings and the discipline of a painting a day. And so, my stage has become a 6”x6” panel. Amazing!
