| Introduction | I was born into a home where I was cared for and loved. As a child I began to know God and His love for me through prayer. As a teenager I read the Bible cover to cover and received the witness of the Holy Spirit and heard the voice of Jesus speaking to me. As a young adult I read The Book of Mormon and heard the voice of Jesus witnessing to me that it is His word, Joseph Smith is His prophet, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is His restored church. I joined the church in 1971. In 1978 I married my eternal companion in the Provo Temple. We have six children, 4 girls and 2 boys, all of whom have grown up to become powerful and faithful women and men of God. They are raising their families (20 grandchildren at last count) unto the Lord. I love my wife and my children and grandchildren with all my heart. Heavenly Father has been patient in making me a better man. I love Him and His Beloved Son more than I can say. |
