Introduction	School Year Abroad is an American exchange program with ties to five countries - China, Spain, India, Italy, and, of course, France. The France program is based in Rennes, a busy metropolis and the capital of the provence of Brittany. Every year at SYA France, sixty five American students attend school in a beautiful 19th century townhouse just steps from the city center. We study AP French Language, French Literature, History of France, Art History, French Society and Culture, English Language, and Mathematics. All classes except for English and Math are taught in French by French teachers. Outside the classroom, students live in host families in and around Rennes. In just nine short months, SYA students experience intense cultural and language immersion, and an experience that will ultimately change our lives. I say, bring it on.
