Introduction	Paul Birchard is the only actor ever to have left Hollywood, based himself in Glasgow, and lived to tell about it ! He has appeared in Film, TV and Theatre, working with (among others) Dame Judi Dench, Bill Nighy, Kevin Spacey, John Boorman, Angela Lansbury, Tim Burton, Anthony Page, John Cusack, the late Ismail Merchant and James Ivory. Recent work includes THE ANGELS' SHARE (Ken Loach), AIR FORCE ONE IS DOWN (Cilla Ware/Tom Reeve), INHERIT THE WIND at the Old Vic Theatre in London, directed by Trevor Nunn; Edward Albee's THE GOAT at the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh, HANNA (w/Cate Blanchett), SPOOKS (BBC), INSIDE WACO, WATERLOO ROAD (BBC), 1408, THE DARK KNIGHT and "Killer Grain," an episode of the Discovery series TRUE HEROES. Paul considers himself especially fortunate to have worked for the late director Lindsay Anderson in THE FISHING TRIP, Anderson's penultimate stage production. Based on forty years' engagement with MEHER BABA, Paul feels unequivocally that MEHER BABA is the Christ - God in human form, and all other forms.
