| Introduction | Prior to being able to have a real garden in Keedysville, over the years I killed several pots of basil and rosemary placed on window sills of several rental apartments facing north. I planted my first vegetable garden in 2009, and then tripled its size. I became a Washington County Master Gardener that year, and volunteer in their demonstration vegetable and rain gardens as well as in other projects. I look forward to continuing to nurture plants and even to kill them, albeit purposefully, having enjoyed the meals they generously provide. |
