Introduction	I am a retired United Methodist elder (presbyter) and a brother in the Order of Saint Luke, a dispersed sacramental and liturgical community of men and women who share a Rule of Life and Service. From 1993 to 2005 I served as Director of Worship Resources for a general agency of The United Methodist Church. I continue to listen, read, observe the emerging worship scene and try to engage church leaders digging deeper. I consult, write, and teach as opportunities come along. I served as the abbot of The Order of Saint Luke from 2008-2016. In 2024 I published my first book of poetry, Groove in the Earth: Poems from Under the Breath, now published on Amazon
Interests	Dancing with my family (wife, children and grandchildren) and creation, walking in the forest and reading poetry, theology and novels, going to movies, teaching online.
