| Introduction | I'm a believer in Jesus Christ. I am a great sinner who has tried to get to Heaven in my own strength, refusing to give up control of my life to the Lord because I thought I had everything I needed to live a life that was worth something. My sin is worthy of the depths of hell, but God sent His Son to die in my place, giving me His righteousness instead. In doing this, He proved His love for me and showed me that there is nothing I can do to earn His love...it is freely given. All I must do is accept His mercy and grace as a gift, recognizing my sin, repenting of it, and accepting Christ's payment for my sin on the cross. Without Him...I am nothing, my life is worthless, and I am not able to bring Him glory. Jesus is my righteousness, Jesus is my peace, Jesus is the only good in my life that I can claim, that I can boast in. Jesus is my everything...not because of what I have done, but because of what He's done for me! I pray that my endeavor in the world small business owners does not become an idol in my life but a means by which I can share the love of Christ with a lost and dying world that is blinded to the truth and without hope. |
