| Introduction | Diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder in 2004, suffering from it for over 25 years. I am not quite 40 years old, work and play very hard. I have children and a husband. I have never viewed myself as a vitim but have struggled with mood related problems for years. I beleve strongly in choices...there is no one right way. I see this affliction as a blessing, I now have more compassion and understanding and feel more connected to each person since being diagnosed. I wish I could break off a small part of my diligence, strength and persistance and give one to each person suffering with bipolar disorder so that I can show them the power that they harbour inside their own minds. |
