| Introduction | Located in Fresno, the heart of California's Central Valley, also known as the gateway to Yosemite, we are also literally in the heart of California where community and agriculture abound. We are only a short distance from both the beautiful Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks or the tranquil West Coast shoreline. Our chapter of Romance Writers of America encompasses a number of creative writers working in various stages in their writing careers and a variety of subgenres of romance, including paranormal, historical, romantic suspense, YA, and many others. Our chapter's goals are to support our authors by offering multiple opportunities through speakers and classes to hone their craft. We also strive to support our authors' careers by seeking out individuals, including editors, publishers, agents, and other published authors, to guide us in our journey to publication.
