| Introduction | Reading and writing has always been a part of my life. Before I mastered the art of the pen, I dictated my first written fiction to my scribe (a.k.a. my oldest sister). My mother regularly took me on expeditions to the library, from which I invariably returned laden with a stack of books guaranteed to make my arms longer. I read everything voraciously, and when I finished my stack, I'd start on my mother's… and then my sisters'. Today I writes tales about wizards and magic, fantastical places and extraordinary journeys. |
